Hello, my name is Richard D. McCormack, and I started RDMc Publishing in 1994 to help a friend, who was a pastor, publish a sermon series on overcoming abuse. At that time we published books the old fashion way—print thousands of copies, let them set around the warehouse, find stores that will give shelf space, and then discount the books that would not sell.

Today, RDMc Publishing has a better way of publishing through POD (print on demand). I could talk about the savings per book just on overhead, but what I like most about POD is there is no risk in publishing unknown authors!

I use to read hundreds of manuscripts just to find one that would sell and make a profit. Most manuscripts were very good but they did not have the mass market flare. Now through POD all the guess work is taken out of my hands and placed in the hands of the author. RDMc Publishing still markets to the masses, but the majority of our sales are done by the author. This gives the author total freedom on how the book is marketed.
