John Bunyan (November 28, 1628 – August 31, 1688), a Christian writer and preacher, born at Harrowden, in the Parish of Elstow, England. He wrotemany allegorical books including: The Pilgrim’s Progress, The Life and Death of Mr Badman, The Holy War, and others. Bunyan is arguably the most famous published Christian allegory.
